An elegant propless force with a multitude of applications. Force X is a powerful and flexible tool which can be used in multiple ways. This force can be used for both propless effects as well as for face to face performance routines.

Here it is used for doing a "verbal drawing duplication" where a participant on a voice call is finally thinking of the flag of a country and you divine the design of the flag - color by color, and finally reveal the country too. Starting with a bunch of flags, all imaginary, the participant finally ends up imagining the flag of a country. The process is unlike the usual long drawn process for propless effects. Here it is very short, direct and impactful thanks to the Force X principle.

This is so easy and simple to learn and perform that you can start performing almost immediately after you read this manuscript. This is propless and self working - a rare combination. Just the performer and the participant on a voice call and the final impact. That's it.

Again, Well done UNKNOWN MENTALIST ! I personally believe FORCE X is well done and will have quite an outstanding effect for the spectators. Also, I believe that most of your other effects in this area are equally effective and impressive to people. These are nice effects with the Covid Virus going on. Especially for the price these would be great additions to anyone's mentalism library. The only suggestion that I have is that I would like to see these eBook's printed without the background ink color on the pages because it takes a lot of ink to print these. Having said this, I give these effects my highest rating.

I was a little skeptical about buying this because the force is so old. But after having said that THE UNKNOWN MENTALIST HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!! THE UNKNOWN MENTALIST has definitely breathed new life into this force. By combining different principles I believe that most mentalists / magician's and definitely lay people will be fooled by this. (I don't own the book; the rating is for the trick) Don't let the age of a trick keep you from making it your own, and doing it in a fresh new way. I think it is remarkable someone wrote a book about this old standby. I actually opened a show with this one, in a retirement center. My take on it was, after I had my volunteer do all the math, (first of all, do whatever you need to do to avoid using the phrase "three-digit number" as you start introducing the trick) I pretend to fail to be able to reveal the number by myself, after some effort. So I get more volunteers who draw "random" cards from a "shuffled" deck. They don't even look at the cards, they're just holding them. (If they don't know the value of the cards, how could the magician?) Then yet another volunteer with another pad writes the numerical value of each of the cards as they are read off, then they turn their pad around, to show their number; the first volunteer turns their pad around, and bingo-bango the numbers match! To my delight, this got attention! I never read this or anything, but it sure worked. I don't know if this is in the book or not, but you are more than welcome to it if you can use it.

This is an effect that I mentioned in an email to THE UNKNOWN MENTALIST that I wasn't particularly fond of because of the methodology.

HOWEVER, after buying the eBook and receiving the cards in the mail and seeing THE UNKNOWN MENTALIST'S thoughts behind this all I can say is I WAS WRONG.

I haven't really tried this effect yet but the spectator thinking that you thought of the card he selected AND the word will drive them crazy.

THE UNKNOWN MENTALIST'S thinking on this effect is SUPERB along with the price right now.

You owe it to yourself to get this GREAT, SIMPLE EFFECT, and try it on the spectator and see their reaction.

I suggest using THE UNKNOWN MENTALIST'S handling of this effect where he writes something down instead of using a playing card for the prediction. I also suggest using performance tip number 3 in the eBook.

I recommend this very highly for the spectator's surprise for the card and word reveal.

XPERT, which is short for X Personality Test, is a self working and fun personality test which can be performed with a lot of flexibility and yet delivers solid impact. It is engaging for the participant and easy for the performer to do. Just a few business cards and a one time preparation is all you need.

The participant is given a few double blank business cards which have different personality traits written on both the sides of all the cards. The participant first mixes them and then creates an apparently random sequence of cards. The stack of cards she finally ends up with will have 2 random personality traits showing on the top and bottom, of course. The participant will be surprised to note that both these traits are part of her personality. All this while, the performer is looking away or in another room or can even be blindfolded. But now he can divine both these personality traits exactly. The routine can be ended by giving a personality reading, which is optional.

The routine has totally 5 phases and the performer can use as many or as few phases as he wants depending on time and situation factors. There are no sleights, no stooges and no preshow. It is totally hands off. There is next to nothing to reset and can be instantly repeated with a different outcome. No math, no peeks, no gimmicks. The cards are fully examinable before, during and after the routine. In fact the performer never touches the cards after handing them over to the participant.

This is another GREAT effect by the UNKNOWN MENTALIST. I see myself doing this (When I get the time to simply write words on the business cards) AND PRACTICE IT. The impact of this effect far exceeds the method used. And for ONE DOLLAR it is a worthwhile investment whether you use it or not. Well done UNKNOWN MENTALIST! I definitely recommend this.

This is another very unusual approach to a word test that I like very well. The UNKNOWN MENTALIST has done it again. I think I'm going to use this effect followed by the word list in WORLDS WITHIN WORDS ....OR THE GROW DEVILS PRINCIPLE. Either way I won't go wrong. Here's the lowdown on this interesting creation by The Unknown Mentalist. I'm not an expert by any means when it comes to mentalism creations, though I'm not unfamiliar with it either. I'm 54 and been involved in magic my whole life, and have thousands of performances under my belt. Historically, I've never seen this structure before. It's very clever, and to most laypeople will be shocking or at least in-explainable. There may be an exception or 2 due to the structured procedure the spectator has to go through. The routine the Unknown Mentalist created for Psycherotika is well thought out however, and creates a nice and convincing excuse for it being done this way. It's presented as a certain aspect of mind-reading, an exercise-of-sorts. I made a set and tested it twice with my usual guinea pig immediate family members and got the desired reactions. 1 family member fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. Magician's brains will churn with delight, trying to figure it out. All in all, it's a very clever trick.

Effect: A card is handed to the spectator. A decent number of words are written on it. He/she looks them over and chooses one. Now another card is handed to them. On both sides are many individual words. The spectator looks over both sides over and decides on a word that starts with the same letter as his / her secret word (from the 1st card). Now, he / she travels through the words by, noting the last letter in their current word and selecting another word that starts with that letter. They do this as many times as the birth month (numerically). They finally concentrate on that final word and the mentalist reveals not only it, but the word they began on as well!

After reading that, you may be going "Ah,,,,,,,hmmmm, interesting.", but don't bother figuring it out. You won't, and for the reasonable price, don't bother trying.

This is a short and direct way to force any one of six coins or other objects by a selection/elimination process. It takes a little bit of thought and practice, but it's good and certainly much better than the artificial looking "hot rod" force which involves counting or spelling. Add it to your arsenal of forces such as equivoque, PATEO, Quinta, and psi forces. It's a worker.

Extremely clever idea. Amazing prediction method for any 1 in 6 routine. Its simplicity simply kills. A great companion to the 1 in 5 method of Coin'cidence and 1 in 7 method of Absolute & Ultimate Coin'cidence. Together they are a fantastic threesome and you are ready all the time for any impromptu performance. Just a few business cards is all you need to have on you. Very flexible addition to my tool box. A couple of participants are asked to play the roles of 'movie director' and 'movie producer'. Using the various genres of movies like 'action', 'romance', 'comedy' etc, they have to shortlist a 'star cast'. And based on this shortlisted star cast, a probable 'lead star' is decided on. All this happens when the performer's back is turned or he can even be blind folded.

For the climax, the performer uses his 'left brain' to read the thoughts of the participants and uses his 'right brain' to recognize impossibly hidden patterns.

the actors in the PDF will not be recognised by all but use of photos collected of internet and used with your own simple art work you have a effect that not only does the job of entertainment as written .But can be adapted to famous people in the news or even children's super hero caricatures or products involved with the promotion event etc. so in a nut shell an other winner from the unknown mentalist I can not keep up with his speed of creative thinking. TI had to read this a couple of times but it is another GREAT effect by the UNKNOWN MENTALIST. While MIND MATRICKS cannot be beat for entertainment value this is a great companion value. The effect CAN be done both humorously and seriously/emotionally. I'm glad to have purchased MIND MATRICKS, HEART MATRICKS, and TRIALOGUE from a great friend!!!

By the way, if you like the principle found in MIND MATRICKS and HEART MATRICKS, you might also want to purchase the ebook by Sam Dalal called 'Magic with an ESP Deck'. (Sold by Lybrary.com) The effect is called 'One in 14,400'. I have used it for quite a few years as it is very effective for the spectators as it makes THEM look psychic.
